Hemavi: Solving Housing Crisis

Hemavi, a prominent platform in Sweden, aimed to revolutionize its user experience and enhance backend performance to support its growing user base. The project focused on completely revamping the platform to improve code quality, scalability, and maintainability while integrating advanced features to streamline operations and elevate user engagement. The challenges involved optimizing the outdated architecture to modern performance standards, incorporating complex third-party services like Google Maps, Stripe, and OpenAI, and building advanced image tagging and categorization systems to enhance the precision of user-matching algorithms. Additionally, ensuring the platform could scale to accommodate increasing user activity without compromising performance or experiencing downtime was a key priority.

Platform Modernization

We restructured Hemavi’s platform using cutting-edge technologies to enhance its backend and frontend capabilities. This included transitioning to scalable and modular architecture for better maintainability.

Third-Party Integrations

Added advanced location-based features for geotagging and navigation using Google Maps. Enabled secure and efficient payment processing leveraging Stripe. Developed sophisticated image tagging and categorization systems for improved user-matching accuracy using OpenAI.

Analytics and Insights

Integrated tools like Google Analytics and MixPanel to track user behavior and provide actionable insights for the client.

Efficient Collaboration

Employed BitBucket for version control and continuous integration/deployment workflows to streamline development and ensure quality.
